MOVE THIS HEART

[Prayer to Lord to change the heart]


My Lord, bestow Thy kind grace,
Move this heart that’s made of stone.
Make it gentle, tolerant,
Not to fight and hatred prone.

Lord, Thou art omnipotent;
Thou can make the mountains fly.
I have been Thy sinner, don’t,
Thy benevolence, deny.

I have not prayed in my life,
But now final eve is near.
Will you pardon me, my Lord?
I am now in mortal fear.

I have nothing to offer,
But, my soulful repentance.
Lord, reveal Thy wish to me,
I shall everdo penance.
