Bad Habits

Bad habits, bad habits,
I have none, it’s true,
But they multiply like rabbits.
My brother displays a few.

My dad professes to twenty
My mother owns thirty-two
My sister suffers from plenty
And they all make her blue.

My husband is full of them.
My minister admits to some,
My doctor has a problem:
Connected to his chewing gum.

My neighbors possess numerous,
But whenever I say I’ve got none
People think that’s humorous.
They laugh or drop down, stunned.

Bad habits, ah those awful habits,
When I drip and flip and blip and yip,
Those habits multiply like rabbits,
But most of them I’ve skipped!
