TAKE HEART


Take heart that your love story
Ended ere it was too late.
Many a couple have been
Wedded to an evil fate.

Is it better to fall out
After nuptial knot is tied?
Better not to get married
Than, in marriage, to be tried.

‘Marriages are heaven-made’
Is but a common belief.
This thought should, to broken hearts,
Certainly bring some relief.

To love and, in turn, be loved,
Is a privilege indeed.
Why lament if it sours up?
Barren is many a seed.
