Ann Arbor, here I come!
I'm finally beginning to believe I'll live in Ann Arbor someday soon. Actually, I won't be in Ann Arbor city limits, but very near to it. Ann Arbor has no houses with a lake view. My husband is bound and determined to have a view of some kind, since we're leaving such a magnificent view behind. My house is on Fish Creek Provincial Park, we see the Rockies, the Bow River, the park, a golf course, and we can watch Stampede fireworks from all three floors and the back deck.

The Marmakitty is doing well enough that I think by next week, when I go on a final house-hunt, a friend will be able to give him his meds. He hasn't wet the bed in two nights, and when we pick him up he isn't leaking anymore. I'm pretty sure my friend won't pee for him, however.

I'm already planning to meet my friend emmyloo as soon as my car can make the drive. Neither the car nor I do well in snow and ice. I'm checking out the Newcomers clubs in the area, and community colleges so I can go back to taking goof-off (a.k.a. adult ed) classes. I'd really like to take Japanese lessons again, that was fun. I also have to have a Michael's craft store nearby. Maybe I can even go back to teaching crafts. I can't wait to get home!
