Strange Bird
Yesterday, I went to my home beach on Buzzard's Bay, where I grew up, for a much needed swim.  Walking down, we saw a grey bird winging rapidly over the water.  It wasn't a gull, I don't think, as its wingbeats were far too fast, and it presented a very slender profile.
