Fixing Me

The green gel on my skin
to secure the Holter
itches as if millions of
ratchet wrenches are
boring into my skin.
The doctor isn't on to the fact
that there's too much to fix
besides the atrial fibrillation,
like the holes in my head
or my cumbersome life.
