"An unknown force?" Friederich scowled. "There was no radiation
in the navigation systems." the mechanic continued, "Did you notice
high winds?" "What?! No! It would take over a hundred mile an hour
winds to push it nose first into the sand." Freiderich looked nervously
at the tremor in his left hand. "I need to recheck my nano-bites." he
said. "Oh, shit." the mechanic stared at Freiderich's left hand.

Doctor Kunstler scrutinized the nano-bites in Freiderich's blood and
skin. "I can see no malfunction. Do you have a nervous twitch?"
the Doctor inquired. "Sometimes. Yes, before the biological war,
when I was a child." Freiderich's voice faded, "Can the nano-evolve?"
"Oh, yes-yes. They are integrated into your DNA." the Doctor smiled,
"But, your the captain." Dr. Kunstler slapped him on the back.

"A visiter at his office had observed a rose in the
key hole of the door, and the name Marie had been inscribed upon a
slate which hung near at hand."(The Mystery of Marie Roget; Edgar
Allen Poe.) Sarah read aloud the words to her sisters. They were seated
in the solarium with Rachael. Rachael smiled and passed the book
    to Sylvia.
