9.24.11 Injuries and Kindness
Quote of the Day: Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses. -Confucius (551 BC - 479 BC)

This quote makes me feel sad. It makes me feel ashamed. I can't believe that with just five words, a man has totally stopped me in my tracks. Why, I ask myself, is it so hard to forget injuries, yet so easy to forget the kindnesses of others? How have I let myself do this? When I forget the kindnesses of others, I am forgetting what life is all about. When I hold on to past injuries, I am letting bitterness brew in my soul.
Why do I do this? Am I the only one?
