Today, a Christmas Cinquain

Angels
Bow down to earth
And sing their happy songs,
Seeing the joy that God has brought
Today

Christmas
Is the reason
The angels play their harps.
Their glad tidings echo with song
Today

A child
In Bethlehem
Lies there in a manger
Look at the sweetness of his smile
Today

The world
Proclaims his birth
Bells chime and carols play
We look toward the holy star
Today

His birth
Many years past,
But still we remember,
And we celebrate his coming
Today
