On the first day of Easter, dear Peter brought to me
An essay on Chamomile Tea.


On the second day of Easter, dear Peter brought to me
Two cabbage leaves,
And an essay on Chamomile Tea.


On the third day of Easter, dear Peter brought to me
Three green beans, two cabbage leaves,
And an essay on Chamomile Tea.


On the fourth day of Easter, dear Peter brought to me
Four sweet peas, three green beans, two cabbage leaves,
And an essay on Chamomile Tea.


On the fifth day of Easter, dear Peter brought to me
Five carrot tops.
Four sweet peas, three green beans, two cabbage leaves,

On the sixth day of Easter, dear Peter brought to me
Six Brussels sprouts,
Five carrot tops.
