Listening to the Neighbor's Dog Bark

It is Sunday, August 4, and I am sitting at my computer listening to the neighbor's dog bark. All though, the sound that dog makes cannot be called a real bark. The dog's bark sounds more like a cross between a squeak and a yelp. This dog never barks loud or mean and I do not think he, or perhaps the dog is a she, would frighten a burglar. I know it does not frighten the cats or the birds in this neighborhood.

The dog lives in the yard or the house behind the one I live in. I looked out my kitchen window one evening when I heard the dog yelp, squeak, or whatever you call the noise it makes. A cat was sitting on top of the fence looking down at the dog. The poor cat did not know what to think about the noise. The cat just sit there looking down at the dog as if it could not figure out what type of creature was making that noise.

No it is just the neighbor's dog attempting to bark
