War Chest Tuesday: I Blog Therefore I Am in Cyberspace
It's War Chest Tuesday! The November 12, 2013 prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS is
What kind of role or impact has blogging had on you, or what differences in your day-to-day activities have you noticed since you started blogging
(compared to before you began blogging)?

To quote several other bloggers (I'm not sure who first paraphrased René Descartes1) "I Blog Therefore I Am at least in cyberspace. Blogging gives me existence on the Internet, people can look up my name, find my blogs, and learn something about me. Their probably learning more about me then I really want strangers or acquaintances to know, but that's the nature of the beast. At least people know that I'm alive or rather they think that I'm living breathing human being rather then a robot, an alien from another planet, or a creature from another dimension. Of course, I could be a cat, dog, or some other animal writing the blog, but human beings assume that blogs, even those purported to be authored by animals, are written by other humans.

What kind of impact has blogging had on me? It's improved my sense of humor and made me either more cynical less cynical. I suppose that depends on a person's point of view. It also depends on whether the person met me before or after I started blogging. It's made me somewhat happier, given me a place to rant when I want to rant, and I have a place to give my opinion when I want to give my opinion in writing. I know blogging must have had other impacts on my life, but at this time I'm not sure what they could be.

I blog
therefor I exist.

What difference in my day-to-day activities have I noticed since I started blogging? I look forward to getting up on cold autumn and winter mornings instead of remaining in bed under the warm covers. Sitting at the keyboard composing a blog entry warms my hands, as a result the warmed blood flows through my arteries and veins warming the rest of my body. It gives me something to do while I'm sipping my first hot cup of coffee, which also helps warm up my body.

I inhale
the pure essence of cyberspace,
as I blog.

Before and After Blogging: Is there a difference in my life? I'm sure there is a difference in my life and activities since I started blogging. One of those is confidence in my own talents. Other then that I haven't noticed much of a difference; however, I'm sure there are other differences I haven't noticed.

I listen
to the music of the words
flowing though my mind,
as I blog.

Thought of the Day: “The bottom line is that blogging is like sex. You can’t fake it. You can’t fake passion. You can’t fake wanting to engage with the public. If you do, it will ultimately be an unsatisfying experience for both the blogger and their readers.” - Kevin Anderson
