Day 7 - Roller Coaster

Stuck on a roller coaster
my eyes wide open
in the very first row,
the nausea hits me
but I can't get off,
holding on for dear life
and going in endless circles.

Are the thrills and highs
worth the lurch downward?
Gone before we know it,
replaced by an endless void.

The anticipation,
so much better than reality,
but when the ride stops,
where will I end up?
