Day 12 - Pedro

As the ghostly wind moans its protest, the ship moves on through the angry waters. All of Pedro's shipmates are gone, most of them by his own hands. He must protect his treasure at all costs until he finds a safe place to bury it.

Pedro's anxiety increases with the wind. It is difficult for him to see where he's going, his patched eye a constant reminder of the difficulty of protecting his ill-gotten gains. The ship lurches in the roaring sea, and Pedro tries futilely to steady himself on his knotty peg. As his ship threatens to capsize, Pedro takes a final swig of rum and vows that it has all been worth it.
