Waiting For A Date To The Valentines Day Dance
A young pretty blonde teen-aged girl was
working hard on her research paper,
Anticipating if the guy she liked would respond to the
Valentine she had sent asking him to the dance.

He was the object of her affection.
She nervously sings along to the words
of her favorite Taylor Swift love song, twirling her hair.

She sits on her bed on her violet comforter
and the doorbell rings and her heart skips a beat. Her mother
yells upstairs that someone is here to see her. Could it be?
She slowly walks down the stairs and hopes that it is him.

She suddenly sees him. His well built form in the doorway.
He smiles and is holding a teddy bear, a dozen red roses and a valentine.
She accepts his gifts and opens the valentine with a trembling hand.
A big red heart with a dove and teddy bear is on the valentine.

"The verse says: Please be my Valentine." He has also written:
"Yes, I will be your date for the Valentines Day Dance. I love you."
She runs into his arms and hugs him tight and they share a kiss.
This would be the best Valentines Day ever. She has him.
