Where Does the Time Go?

Prompt: Tell us about a time when you completely lost track of time. Does it happen often or hardly at all?

I keep a daily journal and have for years. It has a row of calendar blocks across the bottom showing a solid color if there is an entry.

Every so often I'm ready to write and I notice there are several blank boxes for the the two days prior. Well, sometimes I can remember where I had lunch or maybe we filled the water tank on the boat or.;.;??? Then other times it really is a blank box. I have no clue about that day. Now I can check my email on WDC and often there's a clue. But YES. Time speeds by so fast and I'm concentrated on finishing my book and doing reviews, etc. I really do miss the reality of certain days.

Like today is Monday. I totally missed Friday's update to Weekly Goals. On Friday a Tropical Wave went through with strong wind and heavy rain. That I do remember! Isn't life interesting?
