         Little Lost Doll

Eyes wide with innocence.
Blankness stares your way
Scar's across her tiny face
Tell us abuse has come each day.

Lips puckered for a kiss
Bloody swollen lip does trickle
Mouth stitched so tightly closed.
How careless. life so fickle

Dried blood around her eyes
Helplessness floods off her in waves
Desperation hides just out of reach
Lost, she gives in and caves
