Town I Was Born In
Prompt: Tell me about the town you were born in. Do you still live there?

I was born in a small town in Indiana. People who lived there came from Kentucky. It has a library, several convience stores, a library, two bars, two drugstores, a radio station, five fast food restaurants, a park and a river. It also has two factories, a post office, bakery, county courthouse and some of the roads in town are brown stone streets that they had over a hundred years ago. There is also an underground railroad that they open to the public occasionally. There is an old train depot and a caboose on a small railroad track. The town has a fire house and a ceramic dalmation dog. There are banks and insurance companies. There are churches, Dollar General Store, two beauty shops, a police station, two grocery stores, hospital, high school, Junior High and High School. There are some Doctor's offices, two Nursing Homes, antiques store, two flower shops, Sears store and that is about it.

I live in a smaller town fifteen minutes away. It has a gas station, Co-op, library, restaurant, post office, golf course, Legion Hall and several farm fields. I would rather live by an ocean or mountains but we have Lake Michigan forty-five minutes away. I lived in Arizona, Tennessee, Arkansas, Maryland and Washington State when Dad was in the Air Force. I am content where I live. Life in a small town is nice. Things are quiet.
