Bug In A Jar
Prompt: Imagine that you have caught a talking bug in a jar. What does the bug have to say about nature and the life of a bug? Would you set it free if asked? Why or why not?

The bug would be a lightning bug. He would tell me that he lights the way for other bugs and animals at night. He eats grass and other insects. Do I believe him? Should I? He has a family of lightning bugs and wants to get home to them. He loves flowers and he loves the night time. He enjoys flying and lighting up. He hides in a tree with his family in the daylight hours. He doesn't like his jar. He lights up and the glass blinds him. I feel sorry for him. I like to watch lightning bugs and his friends and family are waiting. I have no reason to keep him. I let him go.

I caught a lightning bug in a jar when I was a kid but I let him go. I left him grass to eat and he was bored. I had no right to keep him in a jar so I set him free.
