I’m a basket
of odd ingredients,
blended in unusual ways.
Sometimes sweet
as chocolate
sometimes bitter
like escarole.
People find me
pleasing or distasteful-
there is no middle ground.
I am a culinary delight
or
a recipe for disaster.
