Lanturne String
Seven Days of First Light

Night
trembles
roosters crow
announce dawns first
rays

Dawn's
first rays
scatter joy
across night's dark
fields.

Light
echoes
across the
yawning city
streets.

The
rising
sun ignites
Sunrise Mountain's
crest.

A
rooster
greeting dawn
crows his happy
song

Birds
sing in
the pine trees
praising day's first
light.

Dawn's
bright joy
drys lonely
tears with a big
smile.
