Second Helpings

Survival Kit.

We took the grand monsters to a Safari Park yesterday. It was hot. It was crowded. There was no parking available near the entrance. Wasps were everywhere. We couldn't find Bobby’s shoes. We left the nappies in the car. Muggins here had to walk back to fetch them. Dylan wanted everything in the shop. Angel’s bag split open. Hubby was stressed out. I have a cold. We spent a fortune. We got lost on the way home. We didn’t get anything to eat until late last night. There was no wine in the house by the time we reached it. All the shops were closed.

Now I need -

A Lottery win.
A week in bed.
A month long child free cruise.
A new set of nerves.
A new sat nav for hubby, plus a hearing aid so he can hear it, new specs so he can see road signs and new joints so he can do all the walking instead of me.

Tomorrow I am going to my favourite town of Newark with my gals. The weather forecast is horrendous with torrential rain all day. Nothing for it it seems but to drown my sorrows in the pub all day. What a shame.
