Charlotte Bronte Quote
Prompt: "When one does not complain...one pays for outward calm with an almost unbearable inner strength." Charlotte Bronte
Do you agree with Charlotte Bronte? In what ways do you think venting works?

People get ulcers from stress and not saying what is on their mind. At work, my co-workers and I complain to each other. We need each other to talk to. The boss, well sometimes you have to watch what you say. If you don't vent, a situation can get worse. Who wants that? I keep things to myself when it comes to my mother's family, father's family or husband's family. If I didn't, World War 3 would have started years ago. Venting or not to vent. Choose your battles carefully. There are certain people you can vent to and some you can't. Women in Charlotte Bronte's and Jane Austen's time had to keep things to themselves. Women's views weren't important back then. Not venting and having inner strength? What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
