Gwyn Harper - Taryn's best friend since the age of 7
Sylvia Gleason - Taryn's mother (with her remarried name)
Alex Donovan - guy who is interested in Taryn; a teacher? At the school where she has her LTO? Friends with the family that lives beside Taryn's mother - nothing happens until after she leaves Carson and even then it is slooooooooow.
Cheryl Barker - the woman Carson has been having an affair with behind Taryn's back.
