Prompt: Write a short story or poem about parents eating their children's Halloween candy in a video.


You ate my candy!
You had no right!
Why do you hate me?
There is going to be a fight!

Children crying and yelling.
Throwing temper tantrums.
Now, the dog is howling.
That was really dumb.

You go to the store,
Buy more Halloween candy.
Take the kids on a zoo tour.
Finally, the kids are happy!

Now, you read a book.
Watch your favorite show.
No more dirty looks.
Great! Look! It's snowing!
