13 Day Halloween Challenge Day 10
Prompt: Write a Halloween poem about a scarecrow. Don't use these words: scarecrow, hay, corn Use these words: pumpkin, pie, moon, mission, red, city.

He was watching the bean field.
He wasn't real and he didn't scare
the birds. A {orange:} city was
miles away. This was the country.

The moon was big and
bright. The cloth man was a dummy bought from
the store. He could have been Raggedy Ann's
brother. He had no mission. He
just watched the field. Hew hated his red
vest. He was bored. He took a nap.

The wind was blowing. Dirt blew on his vest.
The people inside the house was having pumpkin
pie and ice cream. The wooden cloth doll
cried. He knew this was always be his life.
