Songs That Make You Cry

Prompt: Lyn asked if a song we hear immediately brings tears to our eyes because it struck a cord with us.

I can think of several. Like listening to David Bowie's songs lately. I loved his music and him. Reba Mcintire's song: "The Greatest Man I Never Knew" reminds me of my grandfather who died. He was a good man but quiet and didn't express his feelings so sometimes I am not sure if I knew him and this song reminds me of him. It makes me cry.

"This Is My Temporary Home" By: Carrie Underwood made me cry after I had my extensive bowel surgery and had to stay in the hospital and Rehab for a month. I had to remind myself this was my temporary home and not to cry. I got through it.

"In The Arms Of The Angels" By: Sarah McLaughlin. It is a sad song they play when they showed abused animals and animal abuse upsets me worse then anything.

Other songs make me cry, too. "End Of The World" By: Skeeter Davis when things in my world aren't going well. These are a just a few of them.
