If I loved and found you – I would rejoice over my find.

If I loved, affirming its existence, I would rejoice.
For this treasure has a depth and height and breath immeasurable;
It spans time, heals wounds, erases hurt and spawns new life.

If I loved, I would know the scope of its power, feel the magnitude of its joy
And sing to the heavens of this boundless wonderful feeling –

If I loved…
Alas,
I have not.
