Begonias

Manx Cat from Japan

I just put the Begonias out on the porch. Every year I try to grow them as house plant, then out they go in the late spring. I like begonias. There are lots of varieties and colors. I break pieces off the stems and bury them. They root and grow more begonias. Basically, if I grow it, it has to be easy. Gardening is not my talent but if I water, fertilize and plant at the right time I can usually grow something. I especially like to have flowers growing in the summer.

There really is not anything that tastes as good as home grown produce. It is a lot of work but lots of rewards follow the labor.

It is suppose to rain this evening. After a week of sunshine and heat rain will be welcome.

I'm doing some special summer cleaning so its time to get busy.
