ROLLING WITH THE PUNCHES 2096442
ROLLING WITH THE PUNCHES 2096442
God gave the breath of life to me
Also, he made me special you see
Challenges I have each day
He shows me how to live his way

In a hurry to be on earth
Born premature, my special birth
An incubator saved my life
Mom’s visits gave me some limited sight

A limited view of this world I have
Yet through my life I’ve not been sad
I adapted and had help for success
later things changed causing some serious stress

Hit by a car that was at a stop
Over the hood I suddenly flopped
Later things did get worse
At least I wasn’t in a hearse

Now I roll with the punches with joy indeed
With my wheelchair I've been wonderfully freed
My service dog follows wherever I roam
I’ll enjoy my life till He takes me home

My hearing is less Yet I hear
The sounds of nature very dear
God strengthens me and guides me all day
DiaABILITIES not allowed to get in my way

No storms with in me
His glory you will see
Every day together we begin
With Him by my side I will win

I write with might
for readers delight
Victory truly mine
I’m His so divine

No storm inside
