The New and the Old
Red Dragon
*Fairy3*

I found this at a web page dedicated to the World Science Festival. There is a Youtube article called "It's Alive But Is It Life." I could not watch the whole article because of the time element. It is at least one hour or more. I came away from what I saw thinking I have missed something by not watching the whole newsy article.

The subject is DNA. Every creature has their own code that makes them individual, a frog is a frog, a dog is a dog, etc. Scientists have been studying DNA for some time now. They want to start writing their own codes for new creations. What thoughts come into your mind when you think of this? Biological creations that do not have an evolutionary history.

We have a lot of real wind outside today. I wonder if it is an off shoot of the heavy storms forecast for the south eastern USA coast, a hurricane?

Did you watch Madame Secretary? About the governments admitting to global warming so people will believe it and prepare for more rough weather.

I'm off the do some writing and reading. Starting a new library book called, "How to Teach Relativity to Your Dog" by Chad Orzel.
Also going to read, "Sketches of Jewish Social Life in the time of Christ," by Alfred Edersheim. I will be fortunate if I finish both these books in October.

Reading, writing, and housecleaning my month is full and it just started.

Happy Trails
I actually watched a Roy Rogers Movie on TV this summer.
