Organize What?

I just spent the bulk of the evening reorganizing my WDC portfolio a little bit. I do it maybe once or twice a year. How often do you organize yours? How do you have yours set up? Are your folders arranged in any specific order? Guide us on a virtual walking tour of your port.

I've been going to edit and organize my portfolio for several month. It requires dedication to the job. It requires time. Last summer I started to reorganize my house. I finished two floors and the difference is great. Its the last floor that evades me. Now, we are into winter I may get a lot more done.

I'm in the middle of organizing my tax information. Its snowing, raining, icing, everyday a different weather. All I want to do is read a good story. I'm right in the middle of one today. I have books stacked up on my kindle I could read day and night. Actually, I do read day and night. Again no sun for a week so I am very lazy.

Someone recently reviewed two of my journalistic articles. They were good reviews but I realized I needed to organize the portfolio in a manner in which I can find articles and stories. My reviews for the Monthly Reading Challenge are pretty much all in one place but I find I would like to have an organized list of the titles and authors.

Fiction stories I have written should be put in one place. Right now fiction is scattered. among several different places. And, most of it needs editing. It takes more time to edit than to write a story.

Lets see. A walking tour of my portfolio? folder: "Reeling in Your Readers" has one story and the rest is homework done for a course with "New Horizons Academy" / folder: "Images for Fun" contains images I use in my WDC writing. Then there are two folders just holding an image that did not get put in the proper place. / folder: Blog, "Sanguine Tenacious Tidings"/ folder: The Writers Cramp holding 2 items./ The Monthly Reading Challenge is another folder with book reviews which need some organizing/next is two stories in individual folders which need put into different places/ folder: Essay and Critical Thinking Items where I stuck at least two odd writings just to put them somewhere so it needs sorted./ folder: exercises and challenges I'm not sure what is in it since I haven't looked at it in awhile./ Then several stories in individual folders that could be edited moved and sorted to other places.

Today I noticed the "Dear Me" challenge. Maybe I should write a letter to myself. Maybe it would help or maybe I would ignore it and just read another book. Hmmm! I need to get up earlier or go to bed later.
