Valentines Day

Valentines Day. A day of romance and a day for lovers. What did I do and what did I get?

My husband doesn't really doesn't much for me on Valentines Day but he did take me to Bob Evans over the weekend. He had steak and eggs and I had a huge stack of cinnamon pancakes with cream cheese filling and cinnamon chips. Our local Hallmark Store is closing so we shopped there. It is sad to see this store closing down. I picked up a Vintage Wedding Barbie Doll Ornament, Noah's Ark minatures and a Vera Bradley Quilt Journal and my husband bought them for me.

I bought a nice pearl, gold face watch at Macys. I bought some beautiful cologne and purple/lavender blush. I bought new glasses and they are big and teal. A change from me wearing lavender and purple glasses all these years. My husband says this is my Valentines Day gift.

Valentines Day. I took our tax papers in and stopped by the Kitchen Store and I had money left over for Christmas so I bought me a big tea pot with blueberries on it. Beautiful. I came home and watched episodes of "Wings."

I bought my husband Cinnamon Buns. I think this is a nice Valentines Day. I am content.
