My Ysterday's
It was a cold morning and so my grandmother was to give me breakfast I was sent to look for the milk man. My brother and I were raised by my grandmother when our parents' died in the early forties.
I was going along the street and my toe of my shoe stunned the ice and lodged a 2 shilling silver coin which was the currency at the time. I quickly put the silver coin in my pocket and smiled as I came into view of the Milkman's Horse and cart. A good start for a Cold winters day.
