Moral Relatitivsm...

Liam tinkered with the time machine.
"Isn't it arrogant to interfere with history?"
Faith queried.
"After all the wars and desolation,
how can you ask me that?
The fate of the Earth is in our hands.
We must correct the timeline."

"Back to Genesis?" Faith looked puzzled.
"Back to the first contact with the sky Gods."
Liam answered with deep disdain..
"So, you want to erase religion.
But, what do you put in its place?"
Faith asked as she danced slowly in a circle.

"Your casting the first spell of the portal
too soon." Liam quickly activated his machine.
"Magic has a rhythm .. It must begin now."
Faith spoke the incantation.
A small child stepped out of the portal,
holding the world in his right hand.

"Who are you?" Faith smiled and placed her
right hand on the child's left cheek.
Liam quickly threw a lever on his machine.
"It's a guardian. Be careful." he cautioned Faith.
"I am life." the child answered.
Faith vanished as did Liam and his machine.
