Poetry, Poems
Prompt: April is National Poetry Month. Write about poems and poets.

I enjoy writing poems. I have always wanted to go to a Poetry Reading and read poems and listen to others read their poems. Some people think poets are boring. I think they add spice to the world and have a calming effect.

I love the poem about Hiawaiatha. It is about Native Americans and it is one poem I have always loved. I like Emily Dickinson and Elizabeth Barrett Browning. The Bronte Sisters wrote poems. I think anyone who writes stories has written as poem or two. Poems are a short version of a story. Sometimes, poems can have a 100 lines. I get bored when a poem is too long.

Poems give us a chance to reflect, meditate, appreciate life and can give us ideas for short stories or Blog entries. This is how I see poetry.
