Menagarie, Creative Saturday

BCOF Prompt: Today is National Zoo Lovers Day. We are to write a poem or story about a mengarie.

I love going to the zoo. I am a big animal lover. A mengarie? Okay. I have concrete animals in my yard. I have: a pig, wolf planter, little wolf, small giraffe, small elephant, meercat, owl, cat, 2 dogs, buck deer, big fawn, cow planter, big Bear Planter, boy and his dog, gnome, fairy, Bambi, Tinkerbell, squirrel, Jesus Plate and lighthouse.

I have stuffed animals of: dogs, cats, moose, squirrel, wolves, grumpy bunny wearing an Easter costume, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, fox, penguin, lions, leopards, tiger, unicorn, teddy bears, Nurse bears, polar bear. As you can see, I collect a lot of things.

I was accepted at the Academy and accommodations were made for me to attend so I could study Jane Austen, English and Journalism. I was greeted by a crawler, actually a cute little robot who became my friend. A gas leak happened and we had to evacuate. Some pimp tried to get me to be a prostitute. Seriously? He wouldn't leave me alone or let go of my arm. A Grizzly bear showed up and hit the pimp and the pimp left me alone. I gave the Grizzly a hug and he went back to the woods and did his business on a hollow tree. The gas leak was fixed and I went back to my room. My little robot crawler friend followed me and he sucked up a nickel and Princess Leia popped up in a heliogram, saying: "Please, help me, Obo One Kanobi." I am off to find Luke Skywalker. I guess my education will be on hold as I travel the galaxy!
