Middle Muse

Beginning, middle, and end
If one never starts, one never ends
Dig for reserves, progress tough;
In the middle, the going gets rough.

Midway through August’s poem,
Wondering if I’ll finish this tome.
Inspiration courses slow;
What topic to pen with words of woe?

No beginning nor ending -
Stuck in the middle doubting again.
Topic, rhyme or stress meter -
Where’s my inspiring muse? I need her!

Missing- one middle muse tweaker!
