Renewal

Eyes squint in sunlight
as the glass fogs from warm breath.
Winter’s final touch.

Bright colored blossoms,
a chromatic chorus line,
dance in the soft breeze.

Like broken glass shards,
kaleidoscopic hues
dot the revived land.

The earth in splendor
awakens in renewal.
Vibrant renaissance.

Tinctures of decay give way
to verdant visions.
