A Poem Fell Into My Hand
A Poem Fell Into My Hand:
To the Blessed Beauty

A poem fell into my hand today,
red as the martyrs rose,
its scarlet perfume
wafted across the planet
from ‘Akká, Israel.

A poem fell into my hand today,
its rose-colored petals
reminded me
of Mírzá Mihdí1,
the Purest Branch,
and his sacrifice
for the Blessed Beauty.
