Blessed Beauty, let my light shine,
Let it be a radiant sign,
To spirits seeking a lifeline,
Or sacred wine, or sacred wine.

Let the light of my soul shine through
Let it reveal unity's hue,
Let it disclose love's divine view:
I ask of You, I ask of You.

Poem 186 of 200 Dedicated to the Blessed Beauty. Form: Monotetra composed of 4-line stanzas, with 8-syllable (tetrameter) lines rhyming AAAA, BBBB, CCCC, DDDD, etc. The last line contains a 4-syllable refrain that is repeated to form the 8-syllable line. The number of stanzas and topic are up to the poet.
