🥇 The Curmudgeon
*Ribbon* The Curmudgeon
A daily winner for October 14th

I get up at the crack of dawn.
I like to fart, I stretch, I yawn.
I take my teeth out of the glass
and then I like to scratch my ass.

I stumble to the coffee pot
and pour a cup that’s black and hot.
I keep the routine of my day
the same -no black, no white, just gray.

Some say I’m disagreeable,
my moods are unforeseeable.
Pure balderdash is what I say!
I just hope they’ll stay away.

Just ‘cause I chase kids off my lawn
(I know that most are evil spawn)
and don’t wave or pretend to smile
the neighbors think that I’m senile.

Why is it hard to understand:
Go live your life just how you planned
and leave me alone! Can’t you see?
I don’t need you; you don’t need me!

I watch TV and hear the news,
so little fact, so many views.
No one knows what’s going on.
I think the world’s just one big con.

I’m better off staying inside.
The world can just kiss my backside.
