My Awakening

Faces in the fire

Subdued breathings

Unable to stand or sit

I can only think

A tingling sensation coming over me

My feet becoming numb

Moving up my body

Floating above the ambulance

Looking down on my listless form

Up into the wordless and invisible

Away from earth-pain and heart-breaks

Liberty at last with the mysteries of eternity

Passing suns and careering comets

Onward moving to an awakening experience
