Echo Verse: Dream Echoes
Through damp until corridors I walked.                              Walked
Listening to my echoing steps.                                        Steps
Fleeing down empty corridors.                                        Corridors
Of undressed stone and mirrors of bras.                              Brass

Reflecting distant flickering lights.                              Lights
Shining through the keyholes of brass doors.                    Doors
Hun on hinges of silver and of gold.                              Gold
So cold and brittle that it broke like glass.                    Glass

Shattered by my footsteps echoing.                              Echoing
Though the empty corridors I walked.                              Walked
Looking for a carved ivory key.                                        Key
To open the doors of sliver-brass.                                        Brass

Shining in the corridors I walked.                                        Walked
Past locked doors and over cold stone floors.                              Floors
