Journey
Journey

"What's past is prologue," Shakespeare said.
The paths we choose lead toward today.
We cannot turn and run away.

The silent march of time has led
me to this point where I can see
a world of possibility.

My feet, where other's once have tread,
now walk along unchartered ground,
my horizons no longer bound.

Along a path that's free from dread,
I feel my confidence arise
as I move on with open eyes.

Secure, I face what lies ahead.
I am prepared by what has past;
a prologue to success at last.
