Bad Advice
Thank you Whata SpoonStealer for the beautiful purple awardicon that graces my blog cover and to Elle - on hiatus who added a second purple awardicon for 2016 Quill Honorable Mention for Best Political/Opinion
DAY 1845: December 4, 2017, Prompt: "Write about something you don't know. And don't be scared, ever." - Toni Morrison. What are your thoughts on this quote?
I don't agree with the quote. To write about something you don't know opens you up to the probability of making many errors.
Even if you research the subject thoroughly, you wouldn't have the experience or the feelings to make your story believable.
Your work would be criticized and lead to bad reviews. You could also lose your reputation as an author.
