New Year's Day 2018
Kamál (Perfection), 3 Sharaf (Honor) 147 B.E. - Monday, January 1, 2018

It is motivational Monday, and a new Gregorian year has begun. In 2017, I didn't write down any goals or resolution at the beginning of January. I continued this trend on Naw-Ruz of 2017, and, as a results, I can remember only two of my goals. I accomplished both of the goals I remember, however, since I didn't write the others down, I don't know if I accomplished them or not. Since I don't remember what they were, I probably didn't accomplish them. I think I would have remember the goals if I had accomplished them.

This year, I've made a list of 18 things I want to accomplish. Those are listed in "18 for 2018 and Hope for the New Year, and I've, also, established a writing theme for 2018, which is unity. I plan to focus on that theme when I write stories, poems, or blog entries. I may not be able to use it in all the blog entries, but I can attempt it anyway. Since this is Monday, I have to post this week's goals in "Weekly Goals.

Goals for the Week of January 1-5, 2018.

*Box* Enter a contest, post the contest and entry to "I Write in 2018, and review the entry before mine.
*Box* Write an essay, poem, or article about Paraguay (founder member of the UN on 24th October 1945), and post it to "Invalid Item.
*Box* Respond to "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS blog prompts, and post response in forum.
*Box* Review, at least, 7 items this week.
*Box* Clean off top of computer desk.
*Box* Write something about unity, which is my writing theme for 2018.
*Box* Deal with whatever else comes up this week.

This week I am keeping track of my accomplishment using a loose-leaf notebook and pens. I may try a different method next week, that depends on how well the notebook-pen method works.
