What is/ was your favorite part of the New Year celebrations? fireworks, music, highlights of the past year, getting together with friends?

Getting together with friends was my happiest time this year.

New Year's was very quiet at my house. Frigid temperatures kept me inside snuggled under a furry throw New Year's Eve. I had a glass of wine and was in bed well before midnight. I did watch some of the highlights of 2017, but found that a bit depressing!
Our town doesn't have fireworks. That would definitely be my favourite part, though.
