Falcon faces all cast down.
Pinions cannot fly.
Hope lies plucked upon the ground.
Birds of air all cry.

Nest a-sways on topmost branch.
Feathers start to grow.
Oozing wounds begin to stanch.
Eyes anew to show.

Talons flex. Wings beating air.
Eyes track running prey.
Heightened alert. Watchful stare.
Muscled wait through day.

Eagles strong. Falcons cast down.
Pinions cannot fly.
Hope lies bleeding on the ground.
Raptor's weary cry.

Eagles soar on lofty draft.
Wings spread on the heights.
Troubles fall. Shriekings have laughed.
Flying high as kites.
