Opera

The wind
plays its melody
on the leaves of palm and elm.

The wind
carries the spicy odor
of wet grass to the trees and birds.

The wind
accompanies crickets
serenading barking dogs.

May 22 is Buy a Musical Instrument Day. Do you play a musical instrument? If not, would you like to learn a musical instrument? What is your favorite musical instrument?

My favorite musical instruments are flues and bagpipes. I enjoy listening to any musical instrument because they speak to my soul. Music is one of God's gifts to the human race; it lifts the soul out of the mundane of daily stress. It encourages individuals to relax and let the music carry them into a calmer place. The type of music I am talking about is not the music you hear most often on the radio. This is why I listen to music on YouTube. I can chose the songs and instrumentals I want to listen to. I can find music by Baha'i artist the enhances the prayers and sacred readings that are part of the video. The video have beautiful pictures of pleasant scenes and some even have birds singing.
